Terms of Service

These terms are between you and CKT Group LLC, which makes Pingy. By using Pingy you agree to them.

The service

Pingy lets a group plan a trip together: a shared plan and map, a chat, photos, and a record of who paid for what. Features may change as Pingy grows.

Your account

You need an account to use Pingy, and you must be at least 18. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. The name and photo you choose are seen by the people on your trips.

Acceptable use

Don't use Pingy to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, to share content that is illegal, sexual, violent or hateful, to share someone else's private information, or to spam. Don't try to reach a trip you were not invited to, or to break or overload the service.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Content can be reported from the app, reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and offending content is removed and the person responsible ejected.

You can also block someone from the app: you stop seeing what they post.

What you post

What you add to a trip stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people on that trip so Pingy can work.

A plan you share with Share this plan is public: anyone with its link can see it and copy it into their own trip. Share only what you may share. Stop sharing ends the link, and we may take a shared plan down after a report.

Money

Pingy keeps a record of shared expenses; it does not move money. Payments happen in the payment apps you choose, under their terms.

Group trips

Solo trips are free. Your first group trip is free; after that, making a trip a group trip, so you can invite people to it, is a one-time in-app purchase for that trip, charged by the App Store, Google Play or, on the web, by card. Guests never pay. Purchases are handled by the store that charged you, under its terms, including its refund rules.

AI features

Pingy's AI features suggest plans, answer questions and read receipts. What they say can be wrong. It is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice: check opening hours, prices and anything important yourself.

Ending

You can stop using Pingy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

Pingy is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, CKT Group LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for plans, places, payments or meetings arranged through Pingy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
